Favorite Fort Worth Locations

Here in Fort Worth, Texas there are a lot of beautiful locations for photography. I have selected just a few of our favorite places we like to use in Fort Worth. Something I believe is important to remember, when choosing a location for an outdoor session, is that its not really about where you go to have your portraits made, because we are photographing younot the background. The background only adds to the emotion, feeling, style. With that being said, we do understand the importance of finding a quiet, private space for us to do our job and create the beauty of the outdoors with the beauty of you.

Here are a few of our favorite Fort Worth location places. If you’ve looked through our website, you will probably recognize one or all of these locations as they are our regular outdoor spaces.

This first location is located right outside our studio XanZo Gallery at Photos on the Vine. Our studio is located at Historic Handley, and it is a very eclectic neighborhood with older building, a train depot, old empty warehouses, and a lot of great color and style.

This next location is a secret gem to us, so we just like to refer to it as “The Park near our Studio”.. It is conveniently located just minutes from I-30, on the east side of Fort Worth and just about 7 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. There are walking trails, a duck pond, and it is such a quiet city park that we are always able to work here undisturbed. The open spaces often let you feel like you are out in thecountry miles away from city life. If you have dogs you’d like to include in your session, they will love being able to run before the photo session.

Downtown Fort Worth is always a great spot with both the Sundance Square city scene and little hidden garden alley ways. This cool combo offers both garden vista and city style.

This next location is centrally located in downtown Fort Worth off of I-30 and University.Trinity Parkis a wonderful location with different spots for creative images. If you are interested in the central Fort Worth area, near downtown. It includes train tracks, a train station (great colors for a background), lots of large trees, and several water locations.

Bowman Springs Park at Lake Arlington is a beautiful location also. We love the large trees that provide lots of shade through most of the areas we like to work in. The beautiful lake scene also will add a nice mix to your outdoor photography session. Our most popular time to use this park is during our Fall Family Portrait Season (Nov-Dec), but with this beautiful lake background, it can be enjoyed and photographed all through the year.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is a beautiful location year round. It can be a little busy on weekends, but we manage to find quiet spots any time of the day for your session.

The Waterfalls at the Airfield Falls Trailhead and Conservation is in Westworth Village, just minutes from downtown Fort Worth. There are several beautiful spots at this beautiful location. It is about a 7 minute walk from the parking area to discover the hidden waterfall, but definitely worth exploring to.

The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth is culturally classic with beautiful lines and style.

Finally, lets not forget the Stockyards in Fort Worth for a bit of country and history.

Are you looking for a cool location to take a photo with your car? We have a great location we love to use that also has one of the best background views of the skyline of Fort Worth. This spot is very popular for high school Seniors
