A Proposal In The Bluebonnets

Spring time often means a time to enjoy breezy, cool weather (before the heat of summer) and is often a time to enjoy all of the spring flowers making their way into our world. Here in Texas, it means bluebonnets. People come from all over to Texas during March-April to see these gorgeous fields of wildflowers and we had the  opportunity to do a very special photo shoot in a bluebonnet field a few weeks ago.

The young man had a special idea of proposing to his girlfriend of 10 years in a field of bluebonnets. He was hiring us to be a part of the surprise. We were scheduled to do a couples session in the bluebonnets, and then he would propose during the session, enabling us to capture the surprise live.  He had also invited a few of their family members to join in on the surprise to sneak in from behind, holding signs of the proposal.  We were excited to say the least, to be a part of this special engagement.

We decided on traveling to Ennis, Texas (known as the bluebonnet capital) for this session. Ennis Texas is about a 45 minute drive from Fort Worth. I highly encourage anyone to visit this lovely city during bluebonnet season in order to get a true bluebonnet experience. We were literally in awe of the amazing fields of flowers.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this blog today, and we hope you enjoy this peek into this beautiful engagement proposal in the bluebonnet fields of Ennis, Texas.
