Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love the cool morning and evening breeze which allows us to open our doors and windows. I love diffusing autumn scents and even finding my favorite sweatshirt. I have to admit though that in Texas, we may have cool mornings but our afternoons are still hot! So, even though I find myself changing outfits for different times of the day, I am still loving these cooler days.
September was a great month for us in the studio. Today I am sharing some of our favorite images from a surprise proposal that took place at the Marie Gabrielle Restaurant and Gardens in Dallas. The proposal took place in the Gardens and because it is so perfectly shaded with many large trees, anytime of the day becomes a wonderful time of day to take photographs here.
Andrew’s proposal to Katie was so beautiful and sweet. Xavier and I were able to “hide” in different locations nearby in order to get 2 vantage points with our cameras. Katies excitement is over the top special and she lights up our cameras with her beautiful joy and excitement. In addition to the proposal, the couples families were both there to surprise her as well with a visit! They had their own hiding spot and came out after the proposal.
As a hopeless romantic, I just love what we do….
Congratulations to Andrew and Katie. It was so special to us to be a part of your surprise proposal.
