It was the most beautiful day when Connor proposed to Emma at the Dallas Arboretum. The pumpkins were beautifully displayed throughout the park, and a fresh breeze of autumn temperatures were close at hand. Connor chose the Crape Myrtle Allee as his spot to propose. It is a well known spot for many beautiful portraits, including engagements. Of course, it was a little busy with people walking around them, when he first proposed, but they managed to have a really fun audience with applause afterwards. Emma was so incredibly excited. Her joy and happiness was so infectious, we had a smile on our face for days. It really is a wonderful thing to be a part of something so special and as a husband and wife photographer team, we truly cherish being part of a day filled with such love.
Connor and Emmas parents had also both flown in from out of state to be a part of this special day and we included them in candid shots after the proposal and then family portraits as we continued with their engagement session after the proposal. I wish we could show you so many more photos from this session because it really was a full day full of love, family, and just beauty all around.
If you are thinking of hiring a photographer to photograph your proposal, we would love to be a part to help capture this special day. Whatever surprise you have in store for the hopeful fiancé, we enjoy helping the details go off smoothly and to also bring a bit of fun in what we do. Including the time for an engagement session immediately afterward is also a great idea.
Please enjoy this sneak peek in to the Surprise Proposal of Connor and Emma.
