It was so fun to go out to the Airfield Falls on the Trinity Trails Fort Worth for a high school senior photography session this Spring season. Silje is a home school high school graduate and when we spoke during her consultation she mentioned she loved water, bridges, sunsets and wanted to bring her dog.
After considering different locations, she decided on Airfield Falls. Who can resist a waterfall in the midst of your city? Although the water was a little low, we still had a blast in this beautiful natural environment. We photographed in 4 or 5 different spots within this park, which makes this spot even more creatively fun for us.
Be sure to look for the image with the armadillo! This was a first for us- we were on our way to a spot near the waterfalls when we saw an armadillo hanging out in the field, so Silje walked cautiously over to have her portrait made with this Texas native.
There was one image she wanted to create in order to celebrate her volleyball season so we planned to do that image in the studio during her Viewing Session appointment. We had also just purchased a new background and so I also asked her to bring in her navy dress for a portrait in the studio utilizing that new background.
Silje, it was an absolute pleasure to meet with you and work with you and your mother to design this session and have the opportunity to create a memorable collection for your high school senior portraits.
